Bachelor of Sacred Theology

Admissions criteria

- Diploma of pre-university studies (Classic Maturity, Master Degree, etc.).

- Bachelor of Philosophy at a Faculty of Church Studies or Certificate with completed philosophical studies.

- Knowledge of the Latin language and modern language to allow the current use of theological and ecclesiastical sources.

- Certification of at least "Level B2" European Standard or its equivalent for English

Curriculum Overview

The complete course of theology lasts for four years or eight semesters.  The academic year is of nine months' duration, 9 including the days of the examinations, and is divided into two semesters (From STS Academic Regulations 11.1)

Note: Some of the optional courses are compulsory for specified groups of students as required by their Congregations. The Salesian Studies courses are compulsory for Salesian students. Some other courses are compulsory for the Missionaries of Africa.
