A monk of the Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem, originally from Poland, since 2003 in Jerusalem. He holds Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Lublin, Poland (STL) and Licentiate of Sacred Scripture and Archeology from the Studium Biblical Franciscanum in Jerusalem (SSL). He received Doctorate of Theology in Biblical Studies from the Catholic University of Lublin, Poland (PhD) and Habilitation in Theology in Biblical Studies from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland (DSc).

He was was an assistant professor at the Chair of Middle Eastern Civilization at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and taught at the Institute of Biblical Studies of the Catholic University of Lublin and at the Seminary of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin. He was also the prefect of the Theologisches Studienjahr Jerusalem – Abbatia Dormitionis B. M. V., Theologische Fakultät Pontificium Athenaeum Sant’ Anselmo – Rom, Jerusalem, Israel.
